The maintenance of self-binding tanks mainly includes the following aspects:
Regular inspection and cleaning: Regularly check the sealing of the tank, whether the exhaust port and overflow port are unobstructed, and the accuracy of the pressure gauge, thermometer and liquid level gauge. Clean the inside of the tank to remove chemical residues and dirt. You can use detergent and high-pressure water gun for cleaning.
Appearance and structural inspection: Regularly check whether there is corrosion on the outer surface of the tank, especially at the welds and supporting structures. Check whether the anti-corrosion coating is intact. If it falls off or is damaged, it should be repaired in time. Check whether there is settlement, cracks and other phenomena in the foundation of the tank to ensure the stability of the tank.
Safety accessory inspection: Regularly calibrate the pressure gauge and thermometer to ensure their accuracy and replace damaged instruments in time. Check the working status of the safety valve to ensure that it can open normally when overpressure occurs. Check the liquid level gauge to ensure accurate readings to avoid overflow or empty tank accidents caused by misjudgment.
Fasteners and gaskets: Fasteners for PPH wrapped tanks should be coated with lubricating materials, and bolts should be tightened diagonally. Non-metallic gaskets should not be reused, and the corrosiveness of the medium should be considered when selecting gaskets.
Marking and identification: When using PPH wrapped tanks to store chemicals, the stored items must be clearly marked.
Emergency plan and training: Develop a detailed emergency plan, including response measures for emergencies such as leaks, fires, and explosions. Regularly organize employees to conduct emergency drills to improve their ability to respond to emergencies.
Records and reports: Record each inspection and maintenance in detail, including date, inspection items, problems found, and treatment results. Major problems found should be reported in a timely manner and corresponding measures should be taken.
Anti-corrosion and insulation: Regularly perform anti-corrosion and insulation operations on the tanks, and repair the venting flame arrester, anti-corrosion layer, and insulation layer. The materials and valves used for repair should have quality certificates.
